Applying for a character is fairly simple! Just make sure that you have read all of the rules about the forum and the application process, then check the character boards! There, you can find out all the characters that are available for application. Once you've found a character you want to apply for who is open, sign up for an account, fill out the template found below and post it in the APPLICATIONS forum.
You have one week from the time you post your application to finish it, so it's a good idea to start it before you post. If you post it before it is finished, make sure to add WIP on the end of the title, so that the staff doesn't lock it by mistake. Once an application is locked, it cannot be changed, so only take WIP off your title when you're positive you're finished. It will take around a week for the staff to review your application, and you will receive a message in your inbox as to whether or not we see any edits that need to be made, or whether you've been accepted or not!
Out of Character;
Name / Alias: Who are you? Tell us what we can call you!
Where did you find us?: Pretty cut and dry.
Other Characters Played: If applicable. If not, just say none.
Character Application:
Name: Who are you applying for?
Alias: Do they have any aliases? Code names? Anything that they are called that isn't their true name goes here.
Age: How old is your character? Try to put some thought into it. Don't make anyone too old or too young.
Species: Is your character human or mutant? Asgardian or Skrull? Whatever they are, let us know here.
Alignment: Tell us your characters alignment. You have the following choices: Hero, Villain, Neutral, Civilian, S.H.I.E.L.D., Asgardian, Elite. Bear in mind that Elite characters cannot be your first character.
Face Claim: Who is the face of your character? If your character hasn't appeared in a film, you can message a staff member for recommendations or choose your own.
History / Bio: Your characters history, up to the point you plan to play them on the forum. Must be three paragraphs minimum and written in the past-tense.
Strengths / Abilities / Powers: Can your character fly? Do they have a law degree? Are they an amazing muffin baker? Tell us what your characters strengths are. You must list a minimum of five.
Weaknesses: Every character has weaknesses. Do their powers not work in the rain? Do they have commitment issues? What is your character's kryptonite, so to speak? Tell us what your character's weaknesses are. You must list a minimum of five.
Miscellaneous: Anything you want to include that doesn't fit into the above categories.
Sample: Give us a sample of how you plan to write your character! Your sample must be a minimum of 350 words, and written in the past tense. It can be in any scenario you can logically see your character in, so long as you make them the centre of the sample. This will be the most important part of the application, because it shows us how you'll be playing them and how your writing style will look on the forum.

Beneath is a sample of how your application should look. If you're still confused, try taking a look at the approved submissions!
